Orlando Mora

Orlando R. Mora, age 69, beloved father and brother, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 28, 2018.   He was a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, NM.  Orlando was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, who served his country during the Viet Nam and Desert Storm Wars.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and hanging out with his friends for coffee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Edwina Mora; and two brothers, Clyde and Donald Mora.  Orlando is survived by his son, Orlando "O.J." Mora and wife Bernadette; his loving siblings, Dolores Zalma, Viola Torres and husband Eddie, Doris Sandoval and husband Edwin, Juliet Duran and husband Ron, Fred Mora and wife Pauline; and other numerous loving relatives and friends.  Orlando will be greatly missed by his family and by those whose lives he touched.

A Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.   Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery.  Urn Bearers will be Robert Zalma and Daniel Duran.  Honorary Bearers will be Thomas Duran, Lawrence Sandoval, Albert Zalma, and Eddie Torres, III.
