Age 84, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 27, 2014. He was born on March 24, 1930 in Sterling, NE, and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM for 57 years. Paul enjoyed woodworking, as well as anything that involved working with his hands.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Benson; daughter-in-law, Joann Benson; and brother, Jim Benson. Paul is survived by his loving son, Howard Benson of Albuquerque, NM; his sister, Barbara Hickey of Bowling Green, MO; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. NE. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
