Pete Gurule

Pete J. Gurule, age 64, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother was called home by the Lord Monday, June 17, 2019. He was born in Albuquerque, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.  Pete enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, fixing his cars, collecting vintage items, and especially a good meal with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joaquin and  Lala Gurule; daughter, Cheyenne Olivas; and sister, Jackie Hernandez.

Pete is survived by his wife of eight years, Maribel Chinas-Jimenez; his loving children, Amanda  Gurule (Mike Allred), Brenda Gurule, David Gurule (Ginger Kehoe), TamaraMariah Gurule, Gerald Lopez, Maria Eugenia Sanchez, and Teresa Collado; eight grandchildren, Desiree Romero, Tommy Romero, Danielle Armijo, Xavier Gurule, Gabriel Olivas, Adriana Miranda, Matthias Trujillo, and Ariella Glascock; his great-grandchildren, Anthony and Vicente Chavez.  Also surviving are his siblings, Linda Muniz and husband Filimon, Victor Leroy Benavidez and wife Roseann, James Benavidez and wife Geraldine, Dale Benavidez, Diann Garcia and husband Raymond; and other numerous relatives and friends.  Pete will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services ~ Alameda Mortuary.
