Porfiria Sanchez

Porfiria Sanchez 87 of Cuba, New Mexico passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on February 28, 1931 in Cuba New Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her husband Felix Sanchez, Granddaughter Jessica Sanchez, parents Eusebio and Merejilda Aragon, sister Emma Jaramillo and in-laws Ruben and Teodorita Sanchez.
She is survived by her children:  Shirley Sanchez (Tony), Rosemary Valdez (Joddie), Julia Gutierrez (Felix), Leroy Sanchez (Evelyn), Francisco Sanchez (Lorraine),  Bridget Gutierrez (Sosteno), Laura Valdez (Bobby), Ruben Sanchez (Daphnie) and Julian Sanchez (Debbie) her Grandchildren:   Candie Sanchez, Jolynn Sandoval (Randy), LeAnn Valdez,  Sabrina Chavez (Aaron), Felicia Talbert ( Brandon), Sherilyn Sanchez, Nolan Sanchez (Heather), Kimberly Sanchez, Justin and Fabian Valdez, Jonoah and Eliyana Sanchez, Stephanie and Lisette Sanchez
Great Grandchildren:  Jenay & Brandy Sandoval, Jaidyn Valdez, Lukas, Ian and Ava Chavez, Alysse and Rylie Sanchez
Also surviving are her Brother Lupe Aragon (Udella), Sister Stella McCoy and brother in-law David Sanchez (Petrolina),

The Sanchez Family would also like to express their sincere gratitude to Mary Corrales, her caregiver, who she loved dearly; also to Hospice Compassus for the care they provided.

Visitation will be Friday, November16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Cuba, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.    Mass of Christian will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m. also at Immaculate Conception Church.  Interment will follow at the Cuba Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Candie Sanchez, LeAnn Valdez, Felicia Talbert, Sherilyn Sanchez, Kimberly Sanchez, Fabian Valdez, Eliyana Sanchez and Lisette Sanchez.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Son & Daughter in-laws: Tony Sanchez, Joddie Valdez, Felix Gutierrez,  Evelyn, Lorriane,  Daphnie  & Debbie Sanchez,  Sosteno Gutierrez and Bobby Valdez along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
