Raymond Martinez

Raymond L. Martinez, age 72, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 while surrounded by his loving family.  He was a born and raised in Ensenada, NM and was a longtime resident of Bernalillo, NM, where he was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, and of the Knights of Columbus Council # 7633.  Raymond enjoyed playing the guitar, going to casinos, coffee, and his family. He lived his life to the very fullest!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ubaldo and Asencion Martinez; his brothers, Luis, Julian, Victor, and Estevan; and his sisters, Servilia and Socorro Martinez.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rose Martinez; his children Jennifer (Kenneth), Raymond (Stephanie);  his precious grandchildren, Roman, Alex, Raymond, Ashley, and Derek; brother, Albert (Gloria); sister, Margaret; sisters-in-law, Verna and Pauline; and many dear nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Raymond will be greatly missed by his family and by those whose lives he touched.  Rest in Peace Raymond "Bananas".

A celebration of Raymond’s life will be conducted Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary.
