Robert Garcia

Robert Garcia, age 70, beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, was embraced by the Lord, Friday, July 28, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Dalhart, TX and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.  Robert served our country in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, woodwork, and music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lupie and Flora Garcia.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Patricia (Patsy) Garcia; his beautiful daughters, Heather Garcia, Holly Orquiz and husband Freddy, and Nathalie Garcia; his precious grandchildren, Daniella and Diego Orquiz; and many other loving relatives and friends.  Robert will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

A Rosary will be recited Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, with Fr. Bill Sanchez as Celebrant.  Inurnment will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park, with Military Honors.  Urn Bearer will be Freddy Orquiz.
