Rose was a remarkable woman. She was always ready to give of herself to show her love for us. Her hospitality was incomparable to all who would enter her home. With her, everyone was shown beautiful kindness, great conversation and genuine affection. She would always welcome you with her delicious food. Her frijolitos and chilie, fresh tortillas and papitas….and the list goes on. The world was simply a brighter place with her in it.
Rose wove beautiful rugs and crocheted lovely blankets. Her routine was much like her repetitious hobbies. She got up the same time every day, cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner the same way-laundry on Wednesday, dust everything on Friday. Some of these tasks staged around her novellas and Mass. She loved all of us the same way. Her love was woven into her routine because she never wanted us to forget how much she thought about us -in every action, ever word every hug.
Rose was a humble and faith filled woman. Her rosary was always by her side. She knew and taught her family, by example, what was most valuable in this life….Faith and Family.
