Ruben Madrid, age 82, was embraced by the Lord Sunday, October 22, 2017. He was born in Cuba, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Pola Madrid; his wife, Trinidad Madrid; brothers, Alfonso, Juan; and his sister, Ernestina.
Ruben is survived by his loving children, Greg Madrid (Merci), Sandra Fuller, and Alfonso Madrid (Scott); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his loving siblings, Ben Madrid (Nora), Mary Baca, Becky Baca, Uvaldo Madrid (Rita), Emily Padilla (Wilfred), and Luvie Casias (Rudy); and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Ruben will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.
A Rosary will be recited Monday, October 30, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Urn Bearer will be Marcus Madrid.
