Rudy Garcia

Rudy Ben “Shorty “Garcia 46 passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2018 surrounded by loving family and friends.  He was born on October 5, 1971 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Was a lifelong resident of Canon, NM.  Rudy was a devoted and loyal friend to many people. He loved music and spending time with his family and friends.  Rudy was a avid fan of The Oakland Raiders.

Rudy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Pablita Garcia; Jose and Adelina Garcia.

He is survived by his loving parents Rudy and Arlene Garcia; his children, Angelica Garcia, Joseph Garcia, and Brian Zirpel; his precious grandchildren Angelo Jaramillo and Skarlett Zirpel; his sister, Francine Garcia (Frank Chavez); Goddaughter/niece, Dominique Chavez; nephew, Carlos Chavez; girlfriend Linda Garcia; son’s Kevin Zirpel (Jordan), Christopher Zirpel; and numerous aunts ,uncles, cousins; and other relatives and friends.  Rudy, We Will Miss You So Much!

Public Visitations will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St. N.W. Albuquerque, NM 87114.

A Rosary will be recited Friday, January 26, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Canon, NM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Fr. Larry Bernard, OFM, Presiding.  Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Canon, NM.
