Susan Chavez

Susan C. Chavez, age 73, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal Life,  Monday, January 18, 2016.   She was born in Ft. Worth, TX and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM.

She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Cuellar; her youngest son, Raymond "Guitar Ray" Chavez.  Susan is survived by her loving children, Louise Gurule and husband Fermin, Elisa Gurule, and Rey Sedillo; seven grandchildren;and eleven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother, Esperanza Cuellar; seven siblings; companion, Elton Chavez; and many other loving relatives and friends.  Susan will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW, with Pastor Adam Berndt, officiating.
