Susie Casaus, a loving and kind woman, passed away peacefully in Albuquerque on July 26, 2023. Susie was born on April 4, 1937, and lived a life filled with warmth, compassion, and dedication to her loved ones.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, Susie graduated from Bernalillo High School. After completing her education, she embraced the role of a homemaker. As a devoted wife to her late husband Leonides Casaus, Susie found immense fulfillment in raising their children and creating a loving home for her family.
One of Susie's greatest joys in life was spending time with her family. Her fondest memories were the quiet moments shared with her loved ones, treasuring each cherished conversation and laughter-filled gathering. Susie had an enchanting ability to make those around her feel appreciated and loved.
Susie's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly raising her children and having the opportunity to spend quality time with her grandchildren. She dedicated herself entirely to creating a nurturing environment where they could flourish. Susie's unconditional love and support will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones.
In addition to being survived by her adoring grandchildren Aaron St. Clair, Nicolas St. Clair, Monique Casaus, Fabian Casaus Jr., and Cruzita Sandoval, Susie is also survived by her daughter Stella St. Clair and son Fabian Casaus. Their lives have been profoundly enriched by the love she showered upon them.
Susie now joins her beloved husband Leonides, parents Nicolas Gonzales and Leonor Sandoval Gonzales, and brother Jerry Gonzales in eternal rest. She also leaves behind cherished memories for her surviving family members: brother Freddie Gonzales, daughter-in-law Emma Sandoval.
During her lifetime, Susie touched the hearts of countless individuals with her compassionate nature and graceful spirit. Her legacy as a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, and cherished friend will forever remain an inspiration to all who knew her.
Reflecting on Susie Casaus' life, we remember a woman whose kindness and love knew no bounds. Her unwavering dedication to her family and the countless lives she touched will forever be celebrated. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit and the memories she created will continue to live on within our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
