Trini Muniz

Trini (Garcia) Muniz, age 82, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 10, 2020, while surround by her loving family. She was born in Ponderosa, NM and was a resident of Los Lunas, NM.

He was preceded in death by her parents, Leopoldo and Margarita Garcia; her husband, Oliveras Muniz; children, Debbie Saldana, James Garcia, and Gerald Muniz.

Trini is survived by her loving children, Solomon Muniz and wife Priscilla, Ricky Garcia, Sandra Padilla, Maria Chavarria; longtime friend and companion, Jose Torres; ten grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Cleo Bernard; and other numerous relatives and friends. Trini will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 21, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.  Interment to follow at 12:45 pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Robert Chavarria, Lawrence Lucero, Steven Lucero, Michael Padilla, Johnny Salazar, and James Garcia.
