Virginia (Virgie) Barela

January 21, 1936 — September 8, 2024

Virginia (Virgie) Barela was born on January 21st,1936 in Algodones NM. She went to be with the Lord and reunited with her husband Esquipula on September 8th,2024 surrounded by her family. Virginia was a woman full of life, so sweet, so loving, and so forgiving. She wouldn't judge anyone. Her heart was full of love for her family. She always had a full house and welcomed everybody in and always had food ready to eat. Cooking was one of her favorite things to do especially for holidays.Virgie loved to go shopping and the casino.  She will forever be missed.  She is preceded in death by her husband Esquipula( Skippy)Barela. Her parents Flora and Feliciano Archibeque. Three brothers Nestor,Felix and Moises Archibeque. She is survived by her 6 children.  Elizabeth(Sixto) Diaz, Margaret(Mario),Michael, David(Donna), George(Brenda) and Albert(Tammy). She had 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Four brothers, Jake,Valerio,Elias and Marvin Archibeque. And many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Andrew Barela, Lorenzo Armijo ,Steven Armijo ,Alejandro Armijo ,Angel Armijo and Elijah Hernandez.

At this time of grieving the family asks for privacy until services.
